Art to create atmosphere in the hotel

The Carlsen family has for years collected art to create an atmosphere in the hotel and give guests the opportunity to experience culture in the very special setting that Klækken Hotell provides. A number of artists are represented both indoors and in the hotel's sculpture park.

On the walls of the hotel are paintings and graphic works by artists such as Reidar Aulie, Ludvig Eikaas, Ludvig Munthe, Gustav Adolph Mordt, Skramstad, Hans Stoltenberg Lerche, Odd Nerdrum, Willy Stenberg, Henrik Sørensen, Heigberg, Thaulow and Dyre Vaa, in addition to Russian icons and tapestries.

SCULPTURE PARK

In the sculpture park, visitors interested in culture and sculpture will find a small treasure trove. Here are sculptures by Arne Durban, Ørjan Holm, Ståle Kyllingstad, Jon Otto Torgersen, Dyre Vaa and Skule Waksvik.
